LitMed Classics

MedHum.org now features select content from the original Literature, Arts, and Medicine Database (LitMed), founded by Felice Aull and Martin Nachbar at the NYU School of Medicine in 1993. These classics of the medical humanities include a curated collection of reviews of literature, visual and performing arts. Many of the original editors are now contributing to MedHum.org, where a refreshed, reader-friendly layout and improved search tools engage readers as they explore illness, care, and the human experience.
